In the army, when stateside, do you get saturdays off?

well let me tell ya!, we were told the same bs that it was 9-5 and its all about family, i dont know my husbands first duty station is a NTC and they say its different from regular post's so if you get a NTC then good luck my husband gets only 1 four day weekend a month thats it! basically yes its 9-5 if he has PT then its PT at 6am-7am home for breakfast/shower then goes back at 9am home again for lunch at 1130am-1pm then home at 430/5pm if there is no PT then work starts at 8 sometimes the times are not always like that either but as far as weekends off 1 a month does it suck on family...yes! but im proud of him either way....good luck to you and your family
