Is it appropriate to give Christmas cards to your neighbors,even the ones that have given up on life?

I wanted to try to embody the Christmas spirit and be giving to my neighbors even if I didn't feel like some of them deserved it.I mean God gives to us even though we don't deserve it right?But if someone has given up on life and has turned themselves over to darkness willingly after they have had many chances,I mean I'm not trying to judge but some people don't want to do any work in this life.Do you think it's worth a shot even though to reach out,even if it's just a card?I mean I don't want to be stepping on Gods toes either.
