I'm going to a Farmer's Market tomorrow.. Trying to find local meat/produce.. What questions should I ask?

1 question is to ask is if it is in fact their own product. Sadly some of the alleged "growers" at farmers markets I've participated in actually buy their produce wholesale at auction and resell it. Ask where their farm is. Ask what variety the particular produce it is because if they're growing "x" they should know the specific variety of "x". Ask when it's been picked.
